The Box Ukulele Festival 2022
After a covid-enforced hiatus, the Box Ukulele Festival (BUF) is thrilled to announce its return to The Queen’s Head on Saturday July 16th, 2022! The Box Ukulele Festival is a welcome addition to an already impressive collection of music events held in Box (which lies between Bath and Corsham) and will be hosted by The Queen’s Head pub, home of Box Rocks and Schtumm festivals. All proceeds will, as in previous years, be donated to the wonderful Dorothy House Hospice Care.
The Box Ukulele Festival is a jam-packed, family-friendly day, full of musical ukulele fun! A fantastic and varied line up of musical ukulele talent is scheduled, with ukulele groups from near and far performing on stage throughout the day and into the evening. If you thought ukulele was just about George Formby then think again! The festival will host bands catering to every taste.
As well as great music, food stalls will be available and the bars will be open. With happy ukulele sounds, songbooks and strum-alongs, delicious food, plenty to drink and a fabulous village location, this will be a festival for all ages!
